G7 refers to the vital Georgia Avenue and 7th Street corridor in the northwest quadrant of Washington DC. It is Washington's longest commercial corridor, spanning from the waterfront on the Potomac River up to Silver Spring, Maryland. G7-DC is committed to blogging about art and culture, business, and real estate up and down the corridor. Our area of focus is bound to the west by Rock Creek Park and to the east by North Capital Street, and includes important federal buildings such as the National Archives, many Smithsonian museums, and great neighborhoods like China Town, U Street, 14th Street, Columbia Heights, and Petworth.
G7 is the brainchild of Ken Rub, who lives and works on Georgia Avenue. His team can assist with commercial, residential, and investment real estate transactions throughout the G7. He got the idea for G7 while running the trails in Rock Creek Park. He is also a yoga enthusiast, teaching once a week at Equinox Sports Club, and enjoys Crossfit and A Cappella singing. He has sung with the award-winning Harmonizers for over 20 years.
