With a living room that sports a unique turret-like footprint and Juliette balconies, this contemporary 2 bedroom, 2 full bath condo in the heart of Columbia Heights is a quiet oasis in a full service luxury building. A friendly concierge is ready to receive deliveries and visitors every day. Nightly security is an added layer of comfort, in addition to card keys that are required for entry to any floor. Wide, beautifully lit serene hallways lead to the residence. Once inside, warm hardwood floors in the gourmet kitchen, dining area and living room, give way to berber carpet in the bedrooms. Smart storage space is found throughout the home and a full, locked, climate controlled storage room on the same floor comes with the unit, as does a garage parking space just steps from the elevator. Granite counters, a master walk-in closet, and stacked washer/dryer hidden in the entryway make this a nest you will not want to leave. But you'll want to often go to the private, woodland landscaped interior courtyards with gourmet gas grills, or the 360 views from one of the very best roof decks in the city where you can see the entire DMV! A swank party room with full kitchen sits just off the lobby and is great for receiving guests and hosting events. All this on the same block as the Metro station. Historic low mortgage rates mean you can easily make this your very own castle today! Contact Mark Duer CLICK HERE for more information.or Ken Rub for an appointment to view, or

It was just over 3 years ago that the New York Times wrote about 11th Street NW in Columbia Heights as "the new hip strip." Very recently, the Gray Lady as the paper is affectionately called by journalists, contained an article on the sweeping changes at the northern end of the Shaw neighborhood. Shaw spent many years recovering from the riots there following the assassination of MLK. The latest development puts a higher end, mixed-use finish on the eastern end of the hot and eclectic U Street corridor. If you haven't visited the area recently, you may not recognize it. Very exciting day at the G7 team! We got a Christmas card from the White House, signed by the entire family, including the dogs Bo and Sonny. Not sure how the G7-DC blog came to the Obama's attention, be we are thrilled. Merry Christmas to the President and his family!

Teams are what make the world go round. And in the DC Metro area, one hot team has helped another: The DC Rollergirls were sick of running all around to find places to competitively "go around" so they retained our team who took them around to a bunch of great sites and they've now inked a deal on their new home, just around the corner in Maryland. PHEW! Among the many and various projects on our G7 Commercial Team's pipeline, this is one of the most unique. Bravo to Ken Rub and Lawrence Rondon for their vision and perseverance, and congrats to the DC Rollergirls on their new home and training center. Read more by clicking the article title.
